Summer Care Care - 5 Recommendations  As the holiday approaches, make sure you're prepared. Check out our top 5 summer car care tips before you head out onto the open road. 1. Gauge your pressure.Use your tire-pressure gauge to make sure your tires are inflated to the recommended level as found in your owner's manual. Proper inflation increases your fuel efficiency by up to 30% and under-inflated tires run the risk of a blowout. While you're at it, check the tread too. If the tread gaps when a penny is placed between, you need new tires. 2. Make a quick check of the essentials (windshield-wiper blades and oil).
